Sugar on strawberries and cold milk with cookies
Bright yellow sunshine and warm cuddly blankets
Yellow is my favorite color. It's bright and warm and just generally a cheery color. The warmth of bright sunshine is yellow at its best.

I love to cuddle up on my bed under a nice, warm blanket. In fact, that's what the picture is of. I just snapped a quick picture of the blanket I'm currently curled up under.

Steaming hot chocolate dotted with marshmallows
I love hot chocolate... the warmth spreads through my whole body. And of course, no glass of steaming chocolate is complete without at least a few marshmallows!
These are a few of my favorite things!
Adorable puppies and fresh apple pie
Carousels and Roller Coasters that help me to fly
Never have I ever visited a theme park and walked away from it without riding the carousel (assuming it has one.) Yes, the horses are sadly attached to the ride and won't go galloping across the countryside with me on it's back, but that doesn't mean my imagination can't run wild while the ride's still going.

The anticipation as the coaster slowly mounts the first big hill, the stomach drop as you plummet down the other side, the adrenaline rush as you speed around corners and through loops.... I love it all.

Eagles that soar with no cares on their wings
Eagles, not just for Ravenclaw, but also because I'm entranced by the image in my mind of any majestic bird soaring through the clouds, far above the earth. What cares do they have when they're so far from all the strife on the planet?
These are a few of my favorite things
Wizards in robes with black pointed hats
Wizards representing not only my love for Harry Potter, but for all things magical. Fantasy is what keeps my imagination alive.
Warriors that fight for some greater purpose
In this case, warriors don't necessarily have to wield weapons. I love all characters, all people, who show courage in defending something that truly matters, either to them or to the world.
Wondrous stories that melt into dreams
Stories! I included a picture of books, but we all know stories aren't limited to just what we can read. Stories are found everywhere: in books, in movies, in games, in T.V. shows, in friendships. A wondrous story can always be found in the most unlikely place.
These are a few of my favorite things!
When the world bites
When their words sting
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad
(Yes, that link at the top is me singing along to an instrumental version of the song. Please don't throw tomatoes - throw strawberries instead.)
