Talent!
To the left is the Sorting Hat I drew for the talent portion of the competition!
"Oh you may not think I'm pretty but don't judge on what you see I'll eat myself if you can find a smarter hat than me! You can keep your bowlers black, your top hats sleek and tall, For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat and I can cap them all!" |
Application:
· Name: Amy Charz
· Year: Second
· Any Positions: Quidditch Referee
· HOL House: Ravenclaw
· What is your definition of a role model? To me, a good role model isn't someone who just does everything perfectly and never makes mistakes. I think the best role model would be someone who overcomes obstacles, learns from mistakes, acknowledges when they're wrong, and always tries to make a difference.
· What challenges, if any, have you had to overcome in your time at HOL? One challenge in HOL was and still is just continually getting better at Quidditch. (Entering in all these contests can be challenging too!)
· Of the categories listed that you will be judged on, which do you think is the most important, and why? I think the most important category to be judged on is House Pride.
· Which category will be the hardest for you? The hardest category for me will most likely be fashion. My sense of style is, sadly, not spectacular. However, I fully intend to give every portion of this contest my all!
· Do you think contestants for Mr. HOL and Miss HOL should be judged on the same requirements? Why or why not? If two different contests are held, then I think that while similar requirements should be used, it is not necessary that the requirements be the exact same for both. After all, there is an intellectual and an emotional difference between males and females. Both gender's don't always think or interpret things the same way.
· Any other information you would like to give the judges and your fans: I love HOL and would be absolutely thrilled to be Miss HOL, should I make it that far. Thank you all.
